Smoke and Fluff were born sometime around mid-May 2021 on a farm near Colrain, MA. Once they were eating on their own at 5 or 6 weeks old, they were brought to a horse barn to act as barn cats and mousers. They didn't work out as barn cats, though - they were too little, too friendly, and too curious about the farm dogs. The barn owners were worried about the kittens' safety asked if we could take them as fosters. Smoke and Fluff came to Belmont on June 25th.

Smoke is a grey male and smaller than his sister but his personality is anything but small. He's the first at the door, the first to the snacks, and incredibly playful. He's also a sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented guy who falls asleep in laps and loves making new friends. Smoke loves to chase mouse toys and yarn balls and has no idea to do once he’s caught one.

Fluff is a grey female with a rumbling purr that comes out with scratches, snuggles and play time. She was a bit unsure about living in a barn with loud noises and lots of dangers but in a safe home, her playful and cuddly personality is on full display. She’s an assured future hunter and once she realizes that you’ll be her playmate and snack dispenser, you’ll be treated to lots of loving blinks, purrs, and lap time.

These two siblings will head to one home; they sleep together, often eat together, and will keep each other entertained!
